History - Parish
The roots of our parish reach back over 400 years. In 1671, a group of French Jesuit priests, led by Father Claude Allouez, established a mission here, on the banks of the Fox River. That mission not only marked the early beginnings of what would become the city of De Pere, but it also began the settlements of religious folk from France, Holland and Germany. We are quite proud of our heritage and the religious community that we share.
