Mrs. Sue Sands
Principal

Mrs. Sands began her teaching career in 1970 and has been involved with Catholic Education since 1974. She has held an Administrators position since 1991 and has been at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School since 1996. Mrs. Sands has earned a BS in Elementary Education from Northern Michigan University and a MA in Educational Leadership from Marion College in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Sands and her husband have three children.
 
Mrs. Christine Chambers

Mrs. Chambers worked as an Auto Claims Representative before staring her career at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School. Her immediate goal is to be able to fill Mrs. VandeHei’s shoes as she was great former school Administrative Assistant. Mrs. Chambers personal accomplishment is her family, which includes her husband of 21 years, and their two boys. (Her children remind her everyday how truly blessed she is). A favorite quote of Mrs. Chambers is: Life is too short to worry about the small stuff, shrug it off and enjoy the rest of the day .
 
Mrs. Mary Jane Willems

Mrs. Willems started teaching OLOL Early Childhood classes in the fall of 1995. She also taught Religious Education classes within our parish and was a substitute aide for the Brown County Early Education classes during the 1994-95 school year.
 
Mrs. Barb Albers

Mrs. Albers has been a volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1988 and her duties include Pre-School, Kindergarten and Library Assistant.  Mrs. Albers has taken part in early childhood seminars and enjoys helping our school in many different areas.  She and her husband live in DePere and are members of Our Lady of Lourdes parish.
 
Mrs. Sally Brys

Mrs. Brys has been teaching since 1972 mostly at the kindergarten level. She has been teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1984 and has taken many classes in the beginning reading and early math education. Mrs. Brys and her husband enjoy spending time with their three daughters!
 
Mrs. Norma Johnson

Mrs. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a major in Literature and Language: English, with professional preparation in Education. Mrs. Johnson has been teaching since 1990 and has been at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1998.
 
Mrs. Kathy Schill

Mrs. Schill has been teaching since since 1972 and has been teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1974. Her husband is also a teacher and they have two children. She has taught 1st, 5th, and Kindergarten. Mrs. Schill was also a substitute teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes and Syble Hopp school when her children were young. Mrs. Schill is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes parish.
 
Mrs. Anna Toonen

Mrs. Toonen has been a teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1990. She taught fifth grade for three years and has been teaching at the third grade level since 1993.
 
Ms. Ann Willems

Ms. Willems graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is certified to teach grades PK-through 8. She is originally from De Pere and is glad to be back in the area. Ms. Willems enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
 
Mrs. Valerie Mancl

Mrs. Mancl graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She is originally from Green Bay and attended St. Jude Elementary School and Notre Dame Academy. She enjoys biking, reading, tennis, watching movies, knitting, scrapbooking, playing with her cats, and spending time with her family.

Mr. Van Beek has been teaching since 1986 and has been at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1997. Mr Van Beek enjoys teaching Social Studies at Our Lady of Lourdes school.
 
Mrs. Michelle Wagnitz

Mrs. Wagnitz graduated from St. Norbert College and began her teaching career at St. Boniface School. She has held a wide variety of sub jobs in the Green Bay Diocese. Mrs. Wagnitz’s most recent job was at the Marian House, a Christian Group home for parenting teens and their babies. Mrs. Wagnitz began teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes School in 2002. She belongs to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish, where her family is involved in many ministries, including going to Manor Care once a month and saying Liturgy of the Word and communion for the residents there. Mrs. Wagnitz has four children, two still at home and two out on their own.

Mr. Bob Van Rens

Mr. Van Rens began teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes school in the fall of 2001. He graduated from Carthage College in 2000. Mr. Van Rens student taught in De Pere in 2000 and substituted in the spring of 2001 in De Pere and at Notre Dame Academy. He is teaching math to 6th-8th graders at Our Lady of Lourdes and coaches baseball at De Pere for freshman.
 
Mrs. Sharon Johnson

Mrs. Johnson graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. She began teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes School in 2001. She has a wide variety of teaching experience as a substitute teacher in area school districts. Mrs. Johnson enjoys cross country skiing, crafting, reading, walking, camping and spending time with friends and family.
 
Miss Monica Miller

Miss Miller attended high school at Notre Dame Academy. She graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa with a degree in Music Education and Music Therapy. This past year she spent in Topeka, Kansas, completing a music therapy internship at the VA Hospital there. She is very excited to be back in Green Bay and teaching.
 
Mrs. Pam Stoll

Mrs. Stoll is the art teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes School. She teaches art for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. She has been a working artist and photographer since 1972 and has been teaching since 1996. She has been the Art Teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1998. Mrs. Stoll has a Master’s Degree in Art and Photography and is currently the owner of Imagemaker Photography, a custom portrait studio. She has achieved a Master Photographer level in her industry and currently exhibits her art and photography in galleries. She is married to John Stoll and has two children, Arrington and Jack Stoll.
 
Mrs. Jean O’Donnell

Mrs. O”Donnell graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a Bachelor degree in Education and a concentration in Reading. She has taught both first and third grade at St. Philip Catholic School. Mrs. O’Donnell is married and has a sweet, teenage daughter and a cuddly dog. Her hobbies include drawing colored pencil pictures of pet and places, walking her dog, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is very excited to be a part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.
 
Mrs. JoAnn Jankowski

Mrs. Jankowski has been teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1985. She has been teaching since 1981. Mrs. Jankowski has a BSE in Physical Education (K-12) and a minor in Health.
 
Mrs. Lynn Fink

Mrs. Fink is a graduate of Fox Valley Technical College with an Associate degree in Data Processing and Lakeland College with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Economics. She has 20+ years of Information Technology experience with various companies in Wisconsin. Mrs. Fink and her husband are proud parents of two boys who are currently attending Our Lady of Lourdes School and are members of Our Lady of Lourdes parish.
 
Ms. Lori Hietpas

Before coming to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, Ms. Hietpas was a special education teacher in Southern Wisconsin and a Trainee for the WI courts in Spanish. She spent most of her early education at St. Jude School, where she learned how to love learning and was able to explore many creative aspects of her spiritual, intellectual, physical being. She then went to Saint Joseph Academy for the first half of her high school education and graduated from Green Bay West. She began college at UW-Madison with dual majors in Art and French and spent her junior year abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. From there she went to Madrid, Spain where she spent a year teaching English and learning Spanish. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education in French and Spanish Education as a minor from UW-Madison and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from UW-Whitewater.       

Ms. Hietpas goals are to introduce the Spanish and Latino culture into the hearts and minds into the students at Lourdes. She is excited to see the development of a World Languages Curriculum by the Catholic Diocese and believes the connections the students will make with language learning and religion will aid them in their future spiritual, intellectual, academic and professional quests.
